How about a separate Special Ops on higher levels page.
With options to disrupt them.
Like blow up water main. Or Poison Food in Army Canteen lol
As obviously in real life someone could infiltrate, do a nasty deed and possibly have a very bad percentage of getting away with it.
A suicide bomber of sorts?
I think these should cost more operational points. But it would at least give a player some form of revenge, even if its small.
Obviously if this is open to lower levels it should swing both ways. As in higher levels should be able to do the same to lower levels when they get cheeky! Costing even more Op energy to higher levels!
It does seem unfair for a high level to completely obliterate a lower level with a large army destroying their town, so I guess it would be similar to the French Resistance in WW2. As in, the Germans couldn't find them, but could and did shoot as many as they could find.
Or the same special operations that are currently available can be used, but cost a heck of a lot more. Worked out on the level of the two parties involved.
A bit more for the lower level player, and a lot more for the higher level player!
Thoughts anyone? :)

I like the idea, i think it still needs some thought to get it really balance and not be misused in any way.

Agreed. Right now a lower lvl player can attack a higher lvl player's acres to almost zero consequences other than an inordinate amount of bounties. There is no way other than bounties for a higher lvl player to retaliate against a cheeky lower lvl player who attacked their stuff. More often than not a high lvl player will have reached their acre cap, and if they attack another acre after it does nothing. Perhaps you can put in that if they win against a lower lvl player the atack destroys some to all of their buildings? Or even causes the acre to turn back to neutral and have bandits take control of the acre?

why don't you just defend your acres?
if lower levels taking acres from you annoys you then you need to invest in defending them
taking a bunch of acres and leaving them empty but expecting say half the player pool to not go after them is absurd
if its only lower level players that worry you it shouldn't take a large holding force
if you raise the overall cost to lower levels to attack your acres they will probably go find a softer target and let yo be

but then people have to invest time and resources in trying to play the game rather than getting on with running their own schemes and farmvilling their way to the top.

One think i did find off putting about K3 was the round seemed to consist of high ranking player waiting to harvest resources from low ranking players and tit for tat acre grabbing. But if you didn't play the game this way you were at a disadvantage.

Worse still the low rankers seemed to play enough to keep their towns active for most of the round but refused to use the accumulating resources.
