The market is pretty much useless for selling

Maybe it's just me (or maybe not), but it appears that the selling ratio is so low from people buying stuff that you hardly get an income from selling goods. Would anyone be willing to trade cash for certain goods?

We may have to jump start the market by BUYING. I wish it'd tell us how much of each res the market has available... or a percentage. The first week the sales prices were nearly 3:1 for some items.

Just tested my theory: Bought 300k of food and raised the sell price by 3 cents. This suggests someone would have to by roughly 1 000 000 units to raise the sell price by 1 dollar. So who the heck sold that much food to crash the market?

Sorry, I meant 10 mil / dollar raise.

Indeed that market system in the game is a live market system working on ask and demand :)

When I first started this round, I sold A LOT of fuel for a fantastic price - it was around 2 dollars during the first few days, and plateau'ed around a dollar sixty and slowly began to drop. I realized THIS was the time to sell stuff for cash so that you could kickstart your town's development.

That's what I did as well was sell fuel since to get a lot of cash, since I didn't really use it as much.

My fuel is nearly 3.00$ a each

But one day it will crash

So does the market work where it changes each person buys something by a certain amount? also some resources are more valuable so I don't think all rss will raise 1 dolor for ten mil rss. Moderator, could you give us some numbers?

Ronald might give some numbers, but I doubt it.

Most you can sell at one time is 50K each with a 10$ transaction fee. You can sit there and Sell ALLLLLLLLLL the resources you want 50K at a time and drive the market down. Eventually, the government stops buying.

System is based on Supply and Demand. The more you buy, the less the government has, higher the price. The more you sell, the more the government has, the cheaper the price.

Ive only seen it crash in K1 and it took along time for special events to drive it back up... then it crashed again.

If anything, Ronald is teaching us basic economics and trading skills.
